Indicative of our attitude to the opposition, as rendered by the Ballet Cathcart d'Outaouais. Unfortunately, in the last game, Graham suffered rib injuries, forcing him off the field. Given the treelike nature of two of our forwards, even Konah made no difference in the final game of the season, where we lost to the Spitfires, who deservedly moved to second place in the Division. And will move up to OT3. We wish them well.

Whence, learn and perform this CORRECTLY prior to the kick off:

KA MATE
Ka mate! Ka mate! Ka ora! Ka ora! I die! I die! I live! I live!
Ka mate! Ka mate! Ka ora! Ka ora! I die! I die! I live! I live!
Tenei te tangata puhuru huru This is the hairy man
Nana nei i tiki mai  Who fetched the Sun
Whakawhiti te ra And caused it to shine again
A upa ... ne! ka upa ... ne! One upward step! Another upward step!
A upa ... ne! ka upa ... ne! One upward step! Another upward step!
A upane, kaupane, upane, kaupane repeat
Whiti te ra! Hi!!  The Sun shines!!

Some pronunciation hints.. Note: these are crude, and are not meant to be a definitive guide to Maori pronunciation.

The 'wh' is pronounced as an 'f' or 'ph'.
The 'e' on the end of a word is sounded as if the word ended in 'ay' as in 'hay'.
The 'au' is pronounced as the 'ou' in 'hour'.
The 'u's are all long like 'ou' in 'you'.
The 'a's are all sounded long as in 'ah'.

Riccardo's buddies heard about his goal and were positive it was on TV. What is this Olivia Newton-John rubbish? Rock my gourd!! It's a Sony
